IMO, most people that have purchased 4k TVs don't even know what to do with them or the picture they are capable of viewing.
We have several friends that upsized their TVs and also got 4k capability because those were the sets that are front and center at Sam's, BB, WM and other box stores.
To "educate" those people should be the main objective.
Those are the one's that might be led into some package movie deals.
That's the tactic that I used posting about 4k and UF on my wife's FB page.
