I have heard people ask for proof that this isn't a scam.
Not quite proof. But Girardin as it turns out isn't a real company. But there was a big PR stating that Girardin was the new marketing firm.

How much disappointment do people need to leave a stock behind. How many consecutive months of expounded losses is enough?

Lots of stocks doing that 1000% and stuff it happens all the time. You just have to be really lucky.
