Not bloody likely. There are fewer registered R's than D's to begin with. There will be increased turnout by Women, Hispanics, Asian Americans, Blacks, and the highly educated. Trump and Cruz appeal to exactly NONE of those groups.
I wouldn't put a lot of trust in pissed off 18-30 year old voters...1 in 5 turnout...what you offering free beer and hot wings or green cards ?
Neither will the Dems have to put a 'lot of trust' in that demographic. They will pick off the Bernie supporters and combine them with the above listed groups, and it will be 'good night' for the GOP around 9:30 CDT on election night. Hopefully with K. Rove arguing with Megyn Kelley over phantom GOP votes in some precinct or another. Pop corn time for sure!
