Here i will finish by saying, It was not trickle down economics. (Deregulation)
More big company's closed like Steel industry for one. (Under trickle down)
Trickle down this, Then old man Bush had to raise taxes.
Read my lips, lmao
...Living in Pittsburgh for almost four decades makes me laugh at that statement. The steel Industry ended circa1983(unemployment was around 18% in Allegheny County...and Beaver County was around 25%..surrounding averaged around 20%) but was in steep decline through the late70's(Renaissance period). it had absolutely nothing...zero...nada to do with "trickle down economics".
Roughly 30% of the population had left by 1989. They started leaving circa 70'..... and by 1985...everything was gone steel wise.
It seems as though some forget how crappy it was to in the late 70's/early 80's
1976 was a great year though...probably the only good year for...........well......a long ass time.
