There are many extremists in the Republican Party whose views I'm sure you would repudiate.

If the last seven years have taught us anything it is that the separation of powers, the checks and balances, the obstructive power of a Congress with both Houses a GOP majority, are bulwarks against ANY extremist measures.

You know, like repeal of the 2nd Amendment or blocking the Sanders 'Means of Production Bill'.
