eaglefly3, on March 11, 2016 Coates issued a PR stating that they had "completed a feasibility study on two Chinese manufactured commercial engines that were to be retrofitted with the Coates CSRV technology. This press release also stated "This process will start now -- when completed this will open up a vast new market worldwide for the Coates organization." And "management is pleased to report rapid progress with the Chinese industrial engines at the Company headquarters. This project is expected to be completed in the near future." This PR was in reference to two small engines, my guess would be probably less than 10 HP.
In my note to George yesterday I wrote that I assumed those two small, air cooled, diesel engines had already been retrofitted and shipped back to China for evaluation. George did not confirm or deny this. He simply responded with the quote I posted earlier today.
You can read into it whatever you can imagine but I simply do not know any more details than you other than what was given in George's response. George has never been, and he never will be specific in any of his replies to my inquiries. If he were to do so, he would be providing insider information which he is prohibited, by law, from doing.
It is not my intent to start a rumor. I just put forth what he said. Every time I do this, questions like yours arise. The Hulkster even sent me a private note asking about the details of our conversation. The truth is, I have never spoken to George but hope to do so if he ever has another open house.
