$TPAC There is so much to look forward to. You had mentioned the following Tweet:
"We met with the bearing folks and later met with the China folks. Both meetings were very productive. The presentation was well received"

Just as speculation, I have a couple of thoughts as to whom the parties could be.

1) Boeing and Boeing China
2) Boeing and AVIC
3) Boeing and Align(see DJKnows' post with link to AVIC Align; Align has one location in California and sales offices in Shanghai)
4) Boeing and the HK Bankers/Investors

Can anyone narrow this down further? Or alternatively, expand upon the possibilities?

The wording here makes me wonder if both meetings were with Boeing, seeing as the phrasing was meetings, not meeting.:

"As a point of clarification, the meetings yesterday were with Boeing personnel"

This was another great one:

"We have a well-defined path & will meet with Boeing again up in the Seattle area in April & in China in April or May for a shop inspection"

To me this says: Boeing has given us specific guidance. We know exactly what they want and how to go about meeting their requirements. They know our product and our certification(s), and they take us seriously. After doing x, y, and z, we will meet back with them. Once it is confirmed by them that we have followed their steps to completion and satisfaction, they will then inspect and tour the facility in China. Once the factory is approved, the next step or two should be 'green lighting' an introductory order. Should the order be perfect and timely, it is likely to result in further orders or contracts.

It would be a great sign if Boeing and AVIC can meet in Apr/May, with Bill as the go between. They both need him, seeing as TPAC has NAVAIR. Once Boeing is in the bag, the joint venture with AVIC should fall easily into place. Boeing's visit to our factory in China will be a huge confidence booster. The HK bankers, especially if present, would take that very seriously, coupled with NAVAIR, given that the acquisitions would facilitate serving Boeing's needs.

This Tweet alludes to just that:

TPAC Bearings ‏@TPACbearings Jan 29
Expect term sheet from I bankers. Financing would allow 4-5 strategic acquisitions in China. Targets can get Boeing qualification thru TPAC

And check this out:

To achieve final approval, NAVAIR visited our China facility & saw our machinery, tooling, QA system to verify we made our parts at our shop

If visiting the factory was NAVAIR's last step in achieving final approval, and they are so strict that only a few bearing companies in the world get approved, I would venture to guess that this would be Boeing's last step in granting us final approval as well.

Seeing as we are supposed to meet Projen, I am very interesting in seeing what kind of presentation Jason may have created, and whether or not he will be visiting China alongside Bill. Things are really coming together nicely now.
