I don't accept the negative connotations you attribute to the 'skill set'.
And you would not find any educated person who would describe the following as 'brainwashing', rather than simply good education.
But I do get why so many of these skills make you uncomfortable!
Shame, because you couldn't score 168 on an IQ test without in fact applying the skills. Sorry for the 'decline'.
