As I said, he will be clarifying what he meant tomorrow. I'll be posting it here when he does!

ONLY conservatives take it to mean what you said.

Bad choice of words, incomplete thought, no more no less.

Know how I know that? Ask yourself what changed over the past for years since Clinton's speech. He focused on the economy. Did the economy tank? Job losses replace job creation?

'The man is cool on the outside... but he burns for America inside': Bill Clinton heaps praise on Obama as he tears into Republicans

Bill Clinton completes an electrifying address to the DNC - rallying the delegates and officially nominating President Obama for the Democratic nomination for 2012

Described President Obama as man 'who believes we can build a new American Dream economy driven by innovation and creativity, education and cooperation'

Clinton said that despite the slow recovery Obama had laid the foundation for a stronger and more and balanced economy and needed four more years to push his plans through

His speech was the highlight of the day and, following on from Michelle Obama’s much-praised speech of Tuesday night, capped a second successful day of prime-time rhetoric

Republican commentators were forced to admit the success of Clinton's case for Obama's re-election - something they said the president had so far failed to do

President Obama walked on stage to greet Clinton at the end of the address in a carefully coordinated moment
