Eligibility for free shares in SJR - some things to check / remember.
The latest shareholder update confirmed that the record date remains unchanged - March 31.
It may take 3 business days for the purchase to be settled for you to be eligible on the due date - check with your broker regarding the situation for the particular circumstances applicable to your account.
Also check whether you are a Non-Objecting Beneficial Owner (NOBO) or not and any details that may be promulgated later regarding actions required to confirm eligibility.
Some brokers are NOBO by default unless you opt out.
