Hints if buying to be a holder on the record date for new company shares - currently March 31 (unless amended in the news after market).
It may take 3 business days for the purchase to be settled for you to be eligible on the due date - check with your broker for your personal account type circumstances.
Also check whether you are NOBO or not and any details that may be promulgated regarding actions required to confirm eligibility.
This issues have arisen before on other stocks and people start whining when they bought too late, sold too soon if there was a change of date, or didn't provide the necessary details.
