Back in 2012, SCIE had no institutional ownership.
Post# of 1023
Back in 2012, Zacks Small-Cap Research gave SCIE a target price of .30 cents and it was accurate seeing the 52-week high was .24 cents.
Interestingly enough, this same Zacks report gave a 2015 estimate of around .27 cents; taking into consideration a number of variables and assumptions such as PENTAX being on board as the major distributor. Seeing we are only 3 months into 2016, Zacks might end up being right with their .27 estimate (depending on news and progress).
Interestingly enough, although SCIE was given an estimated value at .27, the range was anywhere up to .54 cents. Along with my own personal opinion based on my DD (and you have to admit I have done a lot), valued at .54 cents seems high right now, and if I had to make a guess (pure opinion, based on my own thoughts, as this post is NOT financial advice), with the right news and everything went to plan, .45 cents might be possible this year and next year. Obviously I have thrown around other numbers in other posts, but my numbers, along with everything else, changes as more DD comes to light (I'm a conservative investor, so if any DD were to come to light which would make me lower my price ranges, I would post that as well). Also taken into consideration are other companies I have been invested in which have gone from .17 cents to over a dollar in mere months; and this was before the product was released. Also, I have been invested in companies which went from .07 cents to .30 cents in weeks without having ANY product. These two examples aren't meant to compare one company to another; its simply to show that in the stock market anything can happen at any time.
So, I also take into consideration the fact that price jumps do occur if the fundamentals are on target. In the end, if investors believe SCIE has something good to offer, the price is going to increase. The main reason for my predicted (purely hypothetical) price number is the recent acquisition of oncoscope. SCIE didn't have this in 2012.
All of this again, is pure speculation, I'm not a professional. ALWAYS TALK TO AN INVESTMENT PROFESSIONAL BEFORE YOU INVEST!
