Here's my prediction. Trump get's 60-65% of the delegates as Kasich drops his bid after realizing the only state he is going to get is Ohio. Trump and Cruz duke it out in a mudslinging spectacle sure to please the most rabid political fan. CNN and Fox are drooling for this one. They get to the RNC and there sits Paul Ryan (who categorically will not rule out accepting the nomination), quietly sitting in a corner picking his nose away from the cameras. The party elders debate and determine that Donald Trump is pretty much the biggest horses ass they've come across in decades and he's already done enough damage to an already shattered party. Meanwhile the independents, guys like me, have popcorn kernels all over the couch and carpet as we guffaw them out of our mouths while the GOP deliberate and change the rules on the spot.
Up stands Ryan as the party elders and delegates nominate him as their candidate and damn the dissenters. Meanwhile Trump is bitching and moaning and threatening revolt by the "low information voters," (I love that one), he slips and comes dangerously close to falling off the stage as his comb over flops from left to right. Secret service doesn't give a shit, because the GOP just kicked him to the curb, and he can go back to firing the nitwits from the Apprentice.
That'd be a hell of an RNC and a clear path to the White House for the dems who already have tons of ammunition in the shoot for Trump if he somehow worms his way into the nominee slot.
