FDA trying to prevent Shrkeli style hijinks in the future -- will make it easier for generic drug competition if only one company makes it.

How long till the traditional poorly-working Alz drugs come off patent and there's real competition? Maybe those companies will need to invest in different types of Alz research -- like AVXL's stuff, maybe?
