Let's time travel a little bit: Some of you may
Post# of 1023
Some of you may have heard about a conference which had Michael Oliver speak. Here's the video clip from it:
This is from 2012, but we can apply what MO says in the video to today. There has been 4 years worth of time between this presentation and now; which means the things MO speaks about in the video, has had 4 years worth of time to come to fruition.

Notice the woman at the beginning said SCIE wants to work towards esophageal cancer; which is related to Barret's esophagus; which is why SCIE just acquired Oncoscope. Which means, that from the time of this video, SCIE has been actively searching for the technology and finally found it.
Notice at 3:50, MO speaks about the PENTAX agreement being signed; which just so happens to expire next year. Which means SCIE and PENTAX have had all this time to work on building their distribution agreement.
Notice at 10:20 MO speaks about SCIEs business model as being a 'Razor-Razorblade Model'. Read the link below to see what this is:

This is a great business model for SCIE because the consoles are placed in the hospitals for no charge. But the great part is that, by using the console, the hospital signs an agreement with the distributor to purchase a fixed number of the forceps. No forceps, no console. This is the perfect setup (in my opinion) because it allows hospitals access to the WavSTAT4 which might not otherwise be able to afford it. Notice he said 'every month' or every quarter' which is great for investors, because every quarter we will see any sales.
10:40 Sell WavSTAT4 to EU first and then the USA. Which is exactly what is happening.
11:30 on: Very good info showing the progress of the company
12:14 talks about training.
12:16 Putting the system in FOUR major countries in Europe
12:30 Pentax might be able to work with their competitors to create possible relationships
15:12 SCIE's patents
15:44 FIRST is EU and THEN in USA. Remember, WavSTAT4 is shown on EU Pentax website, but not USA Pentax website. Exactly like MO said.
16:05 Why SCIE is better. Competitors use images. SCIE uses laser light.
The reason I said, 'lets time travel' is because, although this information is from 2012, as investors, we don't want Michael oliver to be mentioning this stuff today! We want this stuff done; out of the way. And we've had 4 years to do it.
