RE: Discovery Channel Boeing, Dreamliner I to

I totally agree with World Sourcing..A New Age our children will take for granted, (!!)....and it's about time as well as an exciting time. I believe Airbus utilized Out Sourcing from day one through out Europe as well as innovating air-shuttles for parts deliveries. I recall seeing the first landing in San Francisco of an Airbus A380....( Holy Shoot..!!!)...So enormous it was hard to say it was actually flying, overwhelmlng and not too sure I would want to get off the ground with 800 other people. Must take 2 hours to get on and 2 hours to get off....
World Sourcing for Boeing was an achievement for Boeing, finally letting go of some in-house pride, but also let Boeing know how tremendously advanced they actually were and are even in partnership with a firm like Mitsubishi.
The take away the program, I believe, was in that Boeing didn't just build bigger or better, but actually in a lot of ways recreated a commercial aircraft from square one !!! Building an entire Composite Exoskeletal Skin, ( Worlds first for Commercial Airliner), handling greater increased internal cabin pressure and eliminating metallurgic degradation completely. I would be very surprised if Boeing isn't receiving Royalties from Airbus for their A350.
To even be a part of and associated with a Co. with the stature of Boeing is indeed an honor unto it's self. Bill McKay has pulled off something unheard of, and obviously has a ways to go..Definitely a Long Position, however all of us knew that going in...and gets better every day....Darn you guys that got in in triples..!!!!!!!....This is getting expensive trying to catch you...LOL... The thing that still scares the Hell out of me....Is how TPAC is going to keep up with production without selling Co....Either way we win...But I hope to Hell Bill has it in him to enjoy the ride he created...I believe TPAC's products to be universal accepted without any exclusivity to any single customer...So with that said Hello Airbus !!...Hello World...And that's Just Airplanes...Have a Great Weekend.....Mark S.F.
