My take on that information if it is gleaned from GC himself, in a reply to you, is that it is most probably true. That he and his son Gregory have indeed funneled their own personal fortunes into the Coates Company.
For them both to arise each morning with their wits about them, endure angry investors, maligning press, state, federal and regulatory mayhem, then open the shop door to another day of Herculean efforts of thought, grit and intestinal fortitude is beyond commendable.
It is the stuff of knowing you have the answer, you are right and will take every legally and morally correct way to make it happen.
I am long, understand fully the product and empathize with every inch of their trail to successful adoption of the CSRV.
