OT: Because of her legal fees and the inability of the stalker to pay, they estimate that she herself will only get about 6 million bucks. She's entitled to the 55 million in my opinion. The hotel was grossly negligent in so many ways -- just for starters, the stalker should never have been told what room she was in, much less been allowed to have the adjoining room. These big corporations only understand big cash settlements so she did a service for everyone's safety by suing. It's a good thing that this guy's behavior had not escalated to violence against the victim.... yet (but it very well could have gone that way).

I wonder how many other people have had other incidents like this with stalkers or crazy people, but didn't have the resources to sue.
