Coates culture has taken too much time. Compare with Elio culture and you feel the industrial revolution blues. Elio got its operations financed in no time flat. Now it is engaging a company that will provide software, etc to run and monitor all aspects of production. Wow!

A savvy veteran racer, an ex-Marine who does not show quit, that is passionate for more/better performance. And besides race car, the motorcycle/motorcross area could be another entry point for distinction and awareness. Remember a motorcross racer several years ago by the last name Ward. A guy like that who wants to keep vital and active with the industry could be reached to join 10th employee's team. Have him ride the motorcycle, contact sponsors, riders -- be a spokesperson for COTE to reach a gifted younger generation who won't take no for an answer....
Lastly, "10th employee with authority." This is a thing of GC entrusting a submissive person with authority to do what he cannot do.
