Many years ago a couple of the big boys apparently took a look at Coates and it went nowhere. I remember reading about it way back when. Why ? I don't know. You'd think that with the apparent break throughs that have occurred more recently it might be worth another look.
I have a friend you is somewhat of a big shot in the auto racing world. Unfortunately I can't get him to be interested enough to actually look into Coates, although I've tried a couple of times. He knows some top people at the big 3 so I was hoping if he saw something of interest he would make them aware.
Anyway, when I described the benefits of the Coates technology to him, his reaction was, "The car companies have buried dozens of companies with newer, better technologies."
