I think the most interesting thing over the next six months is going to be watching all the brave #nevertrump warriors fall into lockstep when it becomes He, Trump against Hillary Rodham Clinton for the actual presidency of these actual United States. He, Trump is such an accomplished bunco artist that all he's going to have to do is titillate conservative thoughts and, suddenly, there will be standing a reincarnate Edmund Burke rather than a vulgar talking yam.
Does anybody seriously think that these people are going to step aside and blithely allow "Hitlery Klintoon" to become president because they don't like the fact that the Republican candidate uses dirty words and pledges himself to fulfill the constitutional theories of John Yoo to the fullest? (Watching Likud cheer-team captain Jen Rubin waxing wroth about "war crimes" is already one of the funniest things ever.)
I mean, did you see the other three stooges at the end of the debate on Thursday? He. Trump is the most ghastly creature ever to rise from the swamps of democracy, a lying, thieving con-man who'd steal soup if he had rubber pockets, but of course they'll all support him in November because socialism! Dear god, it's going to be a hoot.
