Excellent JW. So now I have a real question:

So now I have a real question:
First of all, we do know that there is an investigative report in the works, by a major "three letter", well known, investigative reporting company that can be found on a "single digit" channel from your television service provider.
The FAA is fully aware of this as well.
It is a report that is really going to make the FAA as a whole look bad....and rightfully so.....because of the way they have casually allowed a few of their members to blatantly walk all over Baltia Airlines.......a publicly owned airline.....for all these months and years.
I think it is called "willful blindness"....when the superiors know that their subordinates are overtly abusing their position and the superiors just completely ignore the very clearly and obvious behavior.
So here is my question: In light of the fact that an investigative report is in the works that could take the actions of a few and make the entire organization look bad, wouldn't you.....if you were the FAA....take the bull by the horns (finally!), step up to the plate, and weed out and deal with the corrupt few, and right whatever wrongs you (the FAA) have willful blindingly allowed to occur?
In other words, wouldn't it be logical for the FAA to act on the issues and correct them before the public becomes aware of them?
Or.......is the FAA taking the opposite approach, and trying to "cover the sun with a finger", and hoping they can squirm their way out of this one.
I guess it is just a matter of how you view the FAA.......as elite, highly trained individuals, who value their positions and the great responsibilities bestowed upon them,
Or.....
...as a group of cowardly, pass the buck, just putting in the time government employees, all of whom would rather not put their "John Hancock" on a document for fear they will be held responsible for making a decision.
"Always do the Right Thing", and if the right thing is to weed out the corruption and restore your organization to the grandeur that it once had, then do it!
And while you are at it, right the wrongs that you allowed to blindly occur along the way.
So my question is: What are your thoughts? What do you think the FAA is doing right now? Weeding out the corruption and restoring the pride to the organization that they once represented, or scrambling like cowards to create lies and false documents to try to cover their asses?
If they are doing the latter, I personally believe they are digging themselves a hole that they just can't get themselves out of.
What are your thoughts?
