$CBIS Ms. Hester-Perez first gained international attention in 2009, when she brought public her autistic son's success with medical cannabis by giving interviews on some of the country's largest media outlets, such as, FOX Morning News, The Doctors Show, The Dr. Juan Rivera Show, NBC syndicates, CBS, Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer, and "Inspiring Parents" on ABC's 20/20 special segments. Understanding the needs of autistic patients and families, she created "The Joey Network" designed to provide relevant and valuable resources to empower families and individuals going through their own personal experiences.
