Yes Mits, and it doesn't have to be an individual or group. The market maker can purchase the shares to resell for a profit at a later date. Seems in our case the MM found someone willing to part with a lot of shares below 3 cents and that the MM believes they will be able to resell those shares for a profit when the stock goes back up above 4 cents. True, it may not be a huge profit but a profit is a profit. The MM's see all the action and trading trends of investors and IMO use this to their advantage. I often wonder if sometimes they also aren't privy to some forthcoming news as well. It also could be a combo of an investor and the MM buying the stock. Anyway...go N-Assay!
