You're absolutely right, it's all about the revenue. But in the short term I don't see any other 4k provider going nuts on advertising 4k either. Not enough households have 4k tvs. That FB advertising would help Ultraflix grow more organically without spending much on advertising. Spending money prematurely on 4k advertising could cause dilution, and also prevent growth of the actual product. Some say you spend money to make money, that is sometimes correct. It would be much better to advertise big time when more homes had 4k tvs imo.
Ultraflix is on many platforms, finding cheap and creative ways to promote the product at this point would be ideal in my opinion. I think the company is doing some of that now, I just think we are dressed up for the prom but the dance isn't for another year. So, no big adverting yet (don't think we could even afford it at this moment). Keep doing what they are doing. And that suggestion by the poster about FB wouldn't hurt. Just my thoughts.
