That other company you mentioned deregistered their common stock. This is what it says on the form...
Common Stock, par value $0.001 par value

The above says they are deregistering the common stock. They are going dark which means they will no longer be required to file forms with the SEC. They will continue to trade unless they dissolve.
There are several things that can happen with a company that goes dark from bankruptcy to dissolution, being bought out or going private. This company mentions bankruptcy in their last filing. They are also having financial problems and have lots of debt. That would be my guess.
