It may appear that Boeing may have beat everyone establishing a large maintenance facility in China, (also one in Australia). By No MEANS is this exclusively for just Boeing aircraft and may in-fact do a tremendous business servicing ALL Airlines,(possible Australia also), which alone could make TPACS's head spin,(YES!)
Could it be this initial P.O. was merely a test by Boeing(?)...to see what they can do in 3-5 weeks ??
Somewhere... it sticks with me that the Boeing meeting had nothing to do with quality...But the meeting was more directed at production capabilities (!!!!!). and this could a have been a test run P.O. with this meeting for "scorecard"?
A new plane order comes in, yes we will anticipate a delivery date and financing for the customer starts on that delivery date..eg. "They get it when it's done... but with acceptance of New plane, the money is instantly on the line.!! for the airline everyday, night, every minute that plane costs money.
So you put your $400,000,000 jet in for service, regardless of where in the world, and regardless of what facility fixes it....What does the maintenance facility hear every hour from the customer with minutes ticking,($$$$/minute),
"Get that God Damn jet fixed NOW....It's costing me money sitting there"....(Boeing) "OK Mr.TPAC how fast can you turn maintenance orders around??"
And yes..Projen...Very exciting stuff. And there may be some degree of hesitancy on China's part to suddenly have all these overseas co. setting up production facilities in their living room.....But i think that barrier make also be falling apart....( it's hard to swallow pride until you see the advantages..)
I think there are a hell of a lot of pokers in the fire at once. I think Bill would be a damn fool to start firing off all this information until it's ROCK SOLID..No Info...No TWEETs...No Problem......."Get'r Done Bill.....!!!!.....Hell not even Bernie could have been this creative...!!!!!!....(Don't let the other board get a hold of this one) .....Mark To ALL a Good Day and to ALL a good TPAC
