F1ash is absolutely right. Insulting others only hurts our board, and THAT is why they come here -- to try to hurt this board.
The other board has been discredited because of its constant negative bias, with bullish posts getting deleted. We need to be the sane alternative. An outsider coming here and seeing insulting posts will quickly conclude we're just like Yahoo and will leave, without seeing the valuable information shared here.
When someone appears here bashing, the appropriate response is to PM them with whatever insults you have for them, but PUBLICLY the best strategy for posts that others are going to see is simply stating:
• Here are the real facts (and then refuting the lies, if they are convincing enough to scar);
or
• You are incorrect and distorting the facts;
• or something POLITE, brief, and indicating that you know it isn't true.
