Honey I Shrunk The Chart.. Anyone remember the
Post# of 1023
Anyone remember the movie Honey I Shrunk the Kids? Things sure seemed small when you looked at things from far in the distance.
Maybe this next demonstration will help bring the progress of SCIE into perspective, so lets shrink the chart a little bit..
Take a really good look at SCIE's 5 year chart.
(see image below)
Now take a look at where the arrow is pointing. See that tiinnnny little dot just below the tip of the arrow? That was yesterday. Pretty insignificant, hu?
Focusing on the daily chart, and feeling discouraged because the day ended red is just one small part of the whole picture. So when youre feeling discouraged in your investments, zoom OUT to see not where you're going, but where you've BEEN.
Notice the red MA line is beginning to head down and at the same time, the blue MA line has flattened and beginning to curl upwards. It is my belief they will cross on or before April 1, 2016 (once the 10-K is released). Sure, its all opinion and speculation and crazy out there hopes, but you know what? Why is it deemed acceptable for people to tell us how 'bad' a stock is, but we can't be happy for our own investments and hope for the best?
Well, I am hoping for the best and I truly believe the 10-K will turn this around. Again, not saying we wont have red days, but.. just read the previous post.
To sum up
Staring hopelessly at one specific days 'close' all day doesn't give you enough information to make an informed decision of whether or not you should hold, buy, or sell. So zoom out and look at the big picture. Remember what the PPS was July 9 2012? If it did it once, it can do it again. Ive seen worse companies reach .50 cents without a product.
In addition, and I saved this part for last so its the last thing you read, obviously the nay-sayers will say, "All I see is a constant downward trend going nowhere". That's nice, but back in January 2014 they were saying the same thing when the price flattened out at around .02 cents, only to jump to . 05 cents the next month.
I honestly could care less about the nay-sayers. If you believe in your investment, then nothing can change your mind. I know, for myself, that this stock is going to turn itself around. Quoting Forrest Gump, "And that's all I got to say about that".
Actually, one more thing..
Check out this chart from another stock I used to be invested in..
Notice the mega increase in VOLUME prior to the run.
I remember before the run, the only buzz was constant bashing. "Its going nowhere", "This thing is dead", "Someone turn off the lights when you leave" blah blah blah. Pretty much copy and paste any nay-sayers posts from SCIE and they'd be the exact same sayings.
My point is, stocks can do anything at any time. Its most important to know when to get OUT. Don't fall in love with your investments, or do its your choice. From my experience, the more bashing, the more likely a run will occur.
Do your own DD and don't be swayed by anyone online.
