Just for the sake of being hypothetical.....and it

Just for the sake of being hypothetical.....and its a slow day here, lets assume stockmember has 15 or 20 friends each willing throw 10 grand each at this stock. In this hypothetical model, is it possible to create the "herd effect " as the stock soars 100% or better? Certainly that event would trigger some media coverage. Places like hotstocked would write about the sudden boost. Lots of new eyeballs would look at this stock and just jump on since its on an upswing. Might that push on the pile of snow be enough to cause an avalanche?
