That would make sense, but it's not consistent with the face that they have continued to post similar information since the KBM suit (and response) was filed.
Look at their tweet today about shipping smart vending machines;
Their tweet from earlier in the day about the Europeans coming in March to visit and see the machines; The tweet right before that about "soon in next few weeks will release video showing #smartvvendingmachines in locations; The tweet on 2/13/16 about updating the website with the app download and store locater later in the year; and the tweet on 2/9/16 about shipping today to three more dealers around the country.
So they are definitely still putting information out there and I therefore don't think it is accurate to say that they are limiting information. And this information is very much in line with providing the update on the CK production run that they said they would do.
For me it's pretty simple: do what you say your are going to do. Or if you can't then circle back and acknowledge what happened. If there is concern about not being able to do it, then they should not make the statement, I believe.
