It is about readiness...and no a draft would never be allowed to be gender neutral nor combat arms in a left wing liberal socialist progressive communist world.
Really pretty easy to tell you have never had to ask the "what if" questions as a leader. Copy and paste guy.
Can't say I would be in a position to step on a IED. I had a choice other than combat arms. Not all will.
