They are young, smart and not risk takers. The founding partners have their MBAs from Harvard and Kellogg Universities. In fact the whole group is a brain-trust.
What is interesting is their niche is micro and small cap yet they are conservative in their approach. Not only do they have MBAs they have a heavy emphasis in accounting as well. In 30 years of being in the investment industry I NEVER saw an accountant that wasn't risk averse meaning they would rather skew their portfolios towards a more conservative arena than to take a lot of risk.
Micro cap stocks are stocks of companies that have an average valuation of $50-$300,000,000. This is where Baltia should really be. ...BUT we will rapidly move into the small cap arena with this plan that is developing under the radar.
Small cap companies run from between $300,000,000 an $2,000,000,000 in terms of valuation.
