mCig Announces First Large Scale Cultivation Facil
Post# of 2155
BEVERLY HILLS, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 23, 2016) - mCig's (OTCQB: MCIG) Grower Services Division secures its first Washington State large scale contract to build a new cultivation facility in Grant County. Full deposits were received to start a $100,000 phase 1, with a near term phase 2 build out valued at $550,000.
Evolution Design Concepts LLC., or EDC, has a unique strategy of buying land and leasing it to individual growers. EDC will subdivide their 21-acre plot of land into 11 separate parcels which could value the total build at later phases at $2,400,000.00. Notably, they are also under contract for another 25-acre plot since 5 of the 11 initial plots are leased out to individual cultivators already.
EDC was initially interested in the modular grow units created by mCig Inc. The relationship developed after mCig Grower Services professionals were able to bring their expertise of working on hundreds of previous cultivation projects to show that modular construction for large-scale growers is the most cost effective and high quality construction method for the entire project. mCig has refined their focus for the year to proprietary building of large facilities using specialized clean SIP paneling, and has recently moved its office to Nevada to service other projects under contract like EDC, for these high growth markets of the largest growers.
With this announcement, mCig promotes Jori Olson, who was hired in October of 2015, to Vice President of Sales, West Coast Region for the Grower Services Division. "The EDC project further strengthens our West Coast presence and capitalizes on the recreational market developing in those surrounding states. It's a virtual race for cultivators and producers to get to the market to meet the demand of consumers as well as licensing deadlines right now," Olson says. "We currently have over $6,000,000.00 in construction contracts being negotiated with mCig, because we have proven ourselves as knowledgeable professionals whose company has been servicing the Cannabis industry for almost 3 years."
mCig Inc. continues to forge the strongest relations in the industry, and moving from Pods to proprietary customized structures was inevitable. Insulated panels create a hermetically sealed environment that is mold free and provides a sterile clean room environment for entire structures, which is what growers want. Ultra-energy efficient, this is the accepted and proven method by the Food and Drug Administration, and is an mCig specialty.
"Evolution Design Concepts looked at every option for this build-out and realized quickly our investment would be best serviced by the mCig professionals," said Evolution Design Concepts President Travis Nyman. "They have proven themselves, and their system is the best suited for the Cannabis industry and specifically allows us to expand and grow as our vision and client base grows, with the best, most efficient construction technique on the market for our industry."
