LOL!!! This is why the Republican party is so

LOL!!! This is why the Republican party is so fractured...all those talking points are complete bullshit and most Republicans know it! They really do see their party as the "party of stupid"! They wonder how they can call themselves conservatives when, out of one side of their mouth they say, "no tax increases", and out of the other side of their mouth they scream and cry, "how can we leave all this debt to our kids and grandkids"! They won't even consider trying to get a little more out of the ones that CAN afford it because, "they're the job creators"! Yeah right, the "overseas job creators"! And then, the Republicans somehow got behind the "corporate war on unions" because, cheaper workers make the economy grow, we were told! So, we elected Republican governors that quickly made their states, "Right to Work"for less) states by undermining the unions even more! And now, many Republicans are beginning to see that the strategy of "killing the beast" has only made our country divided, weaker and much poorer!! We can all blame the late, great, god of the party, Ronald Reagan for turning half the country on the other half! He was the Great Communicator alright, with his famous mantra, "The Government Is Your Biggest Enemy"! For the last 35 years Republicans have been preaching this like it was straight out of the Bible and that's one big reason why the country is where it's at today; so screwed up we're on the verge of electing a billionaire reality TV star, comedian, landlord guy flying around the country entertaining huuge crowds with his sophomoric language and vague details of how he and his billionaire hedge fund buddies are going to make America great again by keeping the Muslims out, carpet bomb the rest and build walls to keep Latinos out..while suing anyone who lies about him! You know the country's messed up when the Republicans are about to nominate a man who borrowed Hitler's campaign slogan; "I'm going to make Germany great again"!! I first voted in 1972 for Nixon, in '76 for Ford, in '80 for Reagan, in 88 for Bush and in '92 I finally figured out Republicans were for corporations and the wealthiest and did absolutely nothing for average working men and women so, I voted for Clinton. Then, Republicans started creating this division in the country by claiming to be the "party of God" with their phonie war on abortion and their crazy notion that if our president doesn't agree with Israeli presidents on everything, God isn't going to bless America anymore! Jesus Christ Almighty, as an American Christian, I never thought I'd see the day when TV preachers on Sunday morning would openly judge, criticize, mock and accuse the POTUS of being un-American! When, after 9/11 and the fiasco of the Iraqi War, America elected a black man with a Muslim name, not once but, twice, I thought to myself, WOW, this country has the wisest, smartest, strongest, most forgiving and confident population on Earth!! And then, Republicans like Mitch McConnel and the TEA party went after our new president like I never thought possible! The Republican party will have to carry the stain of their hatred for our first black President for several years, I'm sure! In their zeal to make Obama a one term president, that's all they created was a divided nation and the deserved title of "the party of stupid"!
