Who's taking on 1.357 Billion Chinese ?? Russia ??
'Taking on' is grammar school talk. So is presuming adversaries are '10 feet tall'. Neither of those countries is without serious economic problem and together they don't spend anywhere near what we spend on Defense. The same Mutually Assured Destruction, that kept Russia and China at bay during the Cold War, is still working to keep everyone's missiles in the siloes. And the US is the only country with an operation ballistic missil defense, land and sea based. Drink some decaf.
Wonder why reopening the draft has come up...and drafting women ??
I've argued for discussing bringing it back, as well as linking it to a declaration of war and a tax hike to pay for it, and to pay for the aftermath of broken bodies and brains.
Any 'personal responsibility', 'shared sacrifice' conservatives with me? Anyone, anyone, Buellar?
It isn't a conspiracy that Israel has to stand alone...
But it is a misstatement of fact. Lot of self-interest in that 'Iron Dome' funding....technology applied to US missile defense.
