so tom schuman steps down = he knows something is bad?
well, that is quite a connection founded in nothing but speculation.
i can think of a few other reasons.
what if:
1. jerry and tom had a personal falling out?
2. what if jerry wasn't happy with tom executing the job as ceo?
3. what if tom wanted to leave for some unknown personal reason (health or family related) that he didn't want to make public?
4. what if tom has a better offer for more cash at another company AND gets to keep all of his stock at RMH, and again doesn't want to make that info public?
a CEO stepping aside or being replaced is about the same as an NFL team replacing an offensive coordinator. happens all the time. it doesn't mean the team is folding or moving to another town. it doesn't even mean that offensive coordinator was bad. i read stock news all the time and follow many companies. this sort of thing is common.
i can go on and on. spinning this as "he must know something bad" is a bit speculative. i understand the sentiment. its frustrating not knowing everything we want to know but if you look at it in perspective, its not a big deal, and if you want to be an optimist, it might be a very good thing.
