It will affect them to the degree that they will be forced to cover any fractional positions. Another good thing is, it lowers the OS and lessens too some degree shorts ability to manipulate the stock.
I'd be interested in any comments regarding naked shorts. What happens to phantom shares, anything? If broker dealers are involved in naked short selling and fail to deliver as I've documented in one of my recent posts, they don't have to do anything do they?
Any thoughts on NTEK getting an accurate share count?
