Subject: FAA Baltia Airlines Certification Delay
Dear Congressman LoBiondo,
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is.. and I have lived in New Jersey for over 36 years. I currently reside in.... My family has long standing ties to this great state, dating back to....
The reason for my communication is that I feel compelled to discuss a rather unusual situation regarding the FAA and a start-up (Baltia Airlines), a company with the highest of moral standards. Baltia Airlines has been held up in certification for over 5 years, not due to any fault of their own, but rather due to faulty FAA certified equipment, and some questionable FAA certification practices on two of its ‘mini evac’ tests, #3 and #7. Additional information on these tests can be provided upon request.
Baltia is headquartered at JFK. Upon certification, Baltia will fly non-stop from JFK to St. Petersburg, Russia. Due to our proximity to JFK, Baltia will create many high paying jobs and significant tourism dollars for our beloved state.
I would like to encourage you to please look into this matter with Michael Huerta and your fellow representatives. Baltia deserves a pass on its #3 and #7 ‘mini evac’ tests that it has rightfully earned.
Thank you very much for your time and dedication to the prosperity of our state.
Best regards,
