you are correct. tom leaving doesn't mean he's guilty of anything or that anyone's done anything wrong. in fact, tom might be not pulling his load and they are trimming the fat and this is a great thing. who knows.
my issue is that this isn't the national sales director who disappeared and we all turn a blind eye to. this is the number 2 guy in charge. doesn't anyone besides me and one other investor here want to know???
i would have expected a PR saying "best wishes on your new baby and pursuing your family"...or "due to health reasons, tom will be taking a leave of absence" or "as a strategic move to further ensure the rapid growth of our company, tom has agreed to step aside for (insert reason here)..."
the fact that no explanation was offered leaves us all guessing. mgmt knows we are guessing and is okay with that. that is my gripe.
but, i'm just going to have to assume there is some SEC disclosure info about this that prohibits this info from being made public....or there was a personal disagreement that led to tom's departure and the details of which are better left unsaid as we all know how personal issues can interfere with professional business.
