Some numbers to remember about TPAC:
1.) TPAC has the specialized manufacturing know-how that China does not possess for spherical bearings.
2.) TPAC is the only approved aerospace quality spherical bearing manufacturer in China
3.) Threre are 3,000 spherical bearings used in a typical aircraft.
4.) China purchases approximately $60 Million in spherical bearings per annum.
5.) Worldwide there are $1.6 Billion in annual sales of SAE-AS spherical bearings for commercial aircraft.
6.) Average delivery time for a standard bearing manufacturer is 52 weeks from order date.
7.) Approximate delivery time for TPAC is 16 weeks from order date.
8.) Gross Profit Margin is approximately 70% on average.
9.) Chinese airlines and MROs (maintenance, repairs and overhauls) receive a 24% tax benefit by purchasing from TPAC.
10.) Distribution: A large aerospace industry player in China involved with procurement for the country’s airline and MRO supply chain will likely be providing domestic marketing, sales and distribution support on an exclusive basis, with TPAC as its sole source for SAE spherical bearings. This is the big news we are waiting on.
A lot of positive information. Why are we still at subpenny levels? Because TPAC has just begun to manufacture. It's all been infrastructure buildup and forming connections and associations with the distributors and main manufacturers in the aerospace industry. It's hard to get out of subpennyland when you're concentrating on infrastructure and manufacturing takes a second place. But we've finally hit the manufacturing side of the curve.
Our new board member, Jason Wenig, is doubt following up on Bill's communication leads with Lifan's heavy and medium duty Projen line of trucks.
