Of course, it didn’t take long for right-wing conspiracy theorists and all-around nut jobs to start linking President Barrack Obama to the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

One such individual, conservative radio show host Alex Jones, issued an “emergency transmission” to his Facebook page on Sunday that blamed Obama for “murdering” Justice Scalia, while secretly funding ISIS and blackmailing the other Supreme Court justices in the meantime.

“This is the season of treason. This is the time of betrayal and we would be fools not to ask the question if (Scalia) was murdered.”

Jones also suggested that “bad actors” could have slipped drugs into Scalia’s drink that likely triggered his heart attack during a hunting trip in Texas on Saturday.

“You just get used to this, ‘Scalia found, it’s natural, nothing going on here, he just died naturally, and you’re like, ‘Whoa. Red flag.’ Then you realize, Obama is one vote away from being able to ban guns, open the borders and actually have the court engage in its agenda and now Scalia dies. I mean, this is hardcore.

I wonder if [Justice] Clarence Thomas will die of a heart attack next week. If this is an assassination, it signifies that they’re dropping the hammer, that’s the canary in the coal mine.

I wonder why the death of a 67 year old man, who may or may not have been diagnosed with CAD, would first be attributed to an 'assassination'? I guess we should start demanding autopsies cause Obummer is 'dropping the hammer.' LOL!

Are they going to kill Clarence Thomas? Maybe they’ll kill Ron Paul. Maybe they’ll kill Donald Trump next. They all had heart attacks. How many more of these are we going to sit here and put up with? Or maybe their airplane blows up.”

Jones then said there will be a “civil war” in the Senate when the president begins nominating replacements for Scalia.

“The Republicans better block this nomination, because if they get one more Supreme Court person in there, they’re going to trump every piece of Bill of Rights and Constitution and they’re going to get that physical civil war they want.”
