I'm glad that you really broke the Shareholders Memo down again. I had been treating it as fluff with a side comment about an RS.
But the Fluff deserves attention also. In many cases it reconfirms what we have known, and they keep restating the same things with strong emphasis.
The RS is now being more correctly seen as an effort to get the companies financial presentation in good order. Good order is a good thing; but the decision itself is an indicator of confidence and a display of forward thinking. If we were about to be bought out, why do it. If management didn't give a rip, why face the music of taking a difficult decision that carries the risk of new shorting opportunity.
We seem to have future relationships stacked up on the other side of this financial restructuring. Apple TV and Hisense have not been formally announced. Star Wars/Disney seems to be hinted on Ultraflix. We have heard nothing about results from SF 49'ers and their stadium....
