When it comes to the question of revenue and 'where are the revenues' for Spectra Science (SCIE for short), the answer is simple. Why ask? In reality, an individual only invests if there is already realized revenue and/or the potential for revenue. So, asking 'Where is the revenue', means proper DD wasn't done, which ends up being a waste of time for them in the long run.
But, if I must get into the whole 'Where is the revenue' universe, I might as well start from the beginning (not the very beginning, but you know what I mean).
First of all, SCIE already has revenue

Reading this shows that the WavSTAT4, the most up-to-date version of the WavSTAT (the one currently about to receive a new PMA), has already been installed at multiple customer sites .
Of course, to the nay-sayer, they want 'proof'. Well, read it again. There you go. Proof. Of course, if that's not proof enough, lets move on to #2..

Question is, why 2017?
Reason, because by that point sales will have be established and this agreement would more than likely turn into a year by year contract.
So why have sales / revenues stopped?
Because this is a medical product company which costs hundreds, no.. thousands.. no, millions of dollars, and in order to keep up with evolving technology, SCIE needs to now focus 100% of their energy on keeping their product state of the art. Hence... the new PMA we are waiting on.
Could you imagine SCIE currently bringing in $10 million dollars in sales, only for 3M or some other competitor to invent something better? A number of SCIE's patents will be expiring in the next couple of years, which means they need to stay hyper-focused on improving their WavSTAT4 system to the point where its technology cant be surpassed for the next couple of years.
Ive always cringed when 'revenues' or 'lack of revenues' comes up in a conversation because there is much more than revenues in order to sustain a company. Sure, invent in Sunglass Master 5000 , a company which promises to revolutionize the sunglass industry. Sure, investors will rush to invest in it because its the 'newest and greatest thing'. But ultimately, the Sunglass Master 5000 company is doomed to fail; regardless of the millions it made. Why? Because the product holds no merit. Theres no purpose for the Sunglass Master 5000.
And so, the people behind the WavSTAT4 are currently, and have been for several years, been giving the technology 'purpose'.
Revenue is not found at the finish line of any race to build a company. Success is. And with success comes revenue. It never has been, and never will be, the other way around because revenue does not guarantee success.
Final Thoughts
Countless people get caught up in the moment of investing. They want results 'now'. In reality, when reading a PR such as

..the year 2012 was only 4 years ago. Has anyone reading this post ever created a medical device in 4 years? Yet alone 40 years? Nope. That's how slow the process is. SCIE has stringent guidelines to meet in order to stay afloat. Safety, cleanliness in their facility, proper paper work. When it comes to the medical field, 2012 was just yesterday. That's why I find it funny when nay-sayers say things such as, "YA BUT THAT WAS 4 YEARS AGO!". Well, when you can create your own FDA approved medical device in 4 years or less, let us know, and i'll say, "Oh wow.. nice".
