Scalia's party affiliation is Republican. that's what the big deal is. Already, democrats and republicans are debating whether a nominee should be made during this election year. Of course you can imagine who's picking sides. The reality is that any Judge....at the lowest and highest levels interpret the law unbiasedly. There are a few exceptions unfortunately....but never at such a level. This sad event will only add distaste and fodder for all. Let;s see who keeps it clean...eh?
On the other side....two appointees with party ties to the democrats will be nearing their end of tenure...........so all tends to work out. Even though in my steadfast opinion....all is moot.
Ask Ted Cruz how he feels about Justice Roberts...and he used to praise him. The lawmakers will just cause a fuss..remember Justice Thomas and the bull crap he went through???
