I didnt own a company like CPD, which is the master dealer, I owned a business under a company like them. QDI Wireless, which is a Master Dealer just like CPD (maybe a possible acquisition for TALK in the future?)

A lil rundown of it all, sorry its long.
The Master Dealers act as the middle man between T-Mobile and many of the stores you see in malls and shopping centers. They would get the phones from T-Mobile and then wholesale them to the businesses under them. When returns happened for me, I would just send the phones back to them, then then would refund the money to me, they would then send the phones back to T-Mobile, who would then refund them the money back to them. Without going too much into detail, sales of phone contracts and commissions worked in a similar way.

So how they handle their returns and commissions would be much different than the various businesses under them since MD's actually aren't taking any real losses with equipment (on returns from the businesses anyway), since their business is slightly different. They take a cut of the phones they sell to the businesses, along with a cut of sales that the businesses sell through contracts/activations.

This is all why UMS can tout "1500 stores" with only 50 employees, those stores technically aren't theirs, but those stores are binded to them for their need of a MD. The MD dealer business is a pretty nice business, they make a ton off of those businesses under them, as do the businesses themselves.
So if you see someone on iscum saying UMS is a scam because they cant have 1500 stores and 50 employees. They can, and thats how. All they need is various management, office workers, some field reps and warehouse workers. Then they sit back and collect while businesses make them money.
