Since they only have 50 employees, Commissions make A LOT of sense.
For one, the equipment sales reps do get commissions, but are they getting offset properly for returns? Good point.
When I owned a store under a company like UMS/CPD They had "Field Reps" who recruited new businesses, upon other work, but they received commissions for brining in new businesses (probably pretty good too). So realistically, the field Rep commissions are an indirect form of expansion, but many businesses they bring in may leave or not work out.
So the same question applies, are they getting offset properly as well? Or is the commission an indication of expansion that we have yet to see results of yet?
Either way, Good observation!
