Doesn't make sense to me to do a r/s a few months

Doesn't make sense to me to do a r/s a few months after increasing o/s. Lets say they issued shares to make a deal with another company and then they pulled a r/s few months later. I think that company will feel cheated and it would reflect badly on their business relationships.
