I feel you there. When I sold my old house and bought my new house I've never lucked out so much before on my life.
My old house sold for asking price way over market value and was told I wouldn't get it.
Bought my new house the day it went on the market way under value. My neighbor actually told me thanks for ruining his home value because my new house was a brand new house in a foreclosure and I paid 35% under market.
This was in 2009. Point of my story is this. I tell my wife all of the time how thankful I am. I lucked out and made money here and owe half of what my house is worth and all of my neighbors are half upside down. Bad situation that they all didn't ask for.
These are hard working people that all have their dream house just like so many others out there and are in financial ruins because they are stuck in their house.
