The digital currency Bitcoin continues to gather negative publicity, with the focus on its use by bad actors like drug dealers or terrorists, who can hide their activity behind Bitcoin’s anonymity. Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan Chase is the latest banker to denigrate Bitcoin, stating at the recent Fortune Global Forum in San Francisco…“You’re wasting your time with Bitcoin"."Virtual currency, where it’s called a bitcoin vs. a U.S. dollar, that’s going to be stopped. No government will ever support a virtual currency that goes around borders and doesn’t have the same controls. It’s not going to happen.”
There is an alternative to Bitcoin that is more acceptable. It is called GreenCoinX. Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, told Bloomberg in an interview in October, 2014 when asked about Bitcoin… "The customers we’re talking about aren’t trying to be anonymous, they’re willing to be known, so bitcoin technology is key and you can add to it or you could build a similar technology where there’s enough attribution where people feel comfortable that this is nothing to do with terrorism or any type of money laundering”. GreenCoinX has built that technology.
GreenCoinX is the world’s first digital currency that requires users to be identified. GreenCojnX CEO, Danny Wettreich stated “Jamie Dimon and Bill Gates are illustrating what is wrong with Bitcoin. GreenCoinX is the answer as it has all the attributes to be acceptable to all constituents in the financial world. The Isle of Man government has become the first government in the world to welcome GreenCoinX. Other governments will follow.”
